The Art of Persuasion
Last week we went to the Museum of TV and Radio to learn about the art of persuasion in commercials. Can you think of a time when you wanted a toy because you saw the commercial on TV? How did the commercial persuade you? Do you ever get jingles stuck in your head after hearing them on the radio or TV? What examples can you think of? Why do you think its "catchy"? What popular slogans do you relate to products? (ex.- "Gimme a Break"- Kit Kat Bar)

Every commercial I see about toys makes me yell "mommy I want that toy!" Because they look cool and fun to play with.But I get dissapointed if I get it because it's not the same as the commercial, I feel like they lied.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I even want things that I dont really want in real life, boring things, like for adults just because they commercial is so cool.
I always get jingles stuck in my head and sing them even in the elevator.
"Pep boys, does everything for less!"
"Parampampampa, I'm lovin' it!"
"Monday, Tuesday,Wednesday, Thursday, Friday...and forgot the rest."
